We’re a small, tight-knit team who love technology and love making our clients happy – all whilst having a bit of fun in the process.


Sam – Chief Morale Officer

With 7 years of experience in general office tail wagging Sam has recently been promoted to Chief Morale Officer, a job he excels at.

Our office would not be the same without him and if you ever visit the office, he’ll be there to give you a nice warm welcome.

David Nicholls – Managing Director

Dave is the one who keeps things moving forward. Since setting up in 2004, he has constantly been on the lookout for the very best technology. He loves anything techie, security and collaboration-based and the process of making them work in perfect harmony.


Bill Hefford – Client Relationship Manager

For the past seven years, Bill has immersed himself in the realm of Managed Service Providers (MSPs), where he possesses a unique ability to bridge the gap between technicians and end users.


Dan Powell – IT Solutions Architect

Dan is our IT Project Manager and an absolute wizard when it comes to technology. Three things to know about Dan. 1: Dan is passionate about M365 and Azure. 2: He can do very clever things in this environment 3: He wants all existing and new clients to benefit from his skills and enthusiasm.


Alex Nicol – Onsite Engineer

Alex is an incredibly talented technician and a genuinely lovely guy. He will be in charge of everything communications, and if an issue requires onsite support, you’ll likely meet Alex.


Jamie Urquhart – Senior Technician

Behind a quiet, unassuming, pleasant, customer-focused façade, Jamie is one of THOSE technicians who are only satisfied when the ”why?” has been answered.


Elzi Berrios – Technical Administrator

We welcomed Elzi to Better-IT for her exceptional technical expertise and her dedication to client support, now serving as a Technical Administrator. This role capitalises on her skills and passion for helping clients, ensuring that your interactions with us are both effective and helpful.

For all thing technical, Fred will be the first port of call. Originally from France, Fred has lived in the UK for the past 16 years, a journey that has enriched his personal and professional life. Over the last 13 years, he has gathered a wealth of experience in various industries before finding his place at Better-IT.

To him, knowledge isn’t just power—it’s the key to understanding the world and making a meaningful difference.
